Come Home

There are words within.

The seasons come and go,

i take liberties because you are there,

not having you by my side

was something I never imagined.

now that every day is void

of your face, voice and laughter,

i realise I have gotten used to having you to myself.

come back to us,

let us create time

when it is just us again,

happy and joyful in our spaces.

although we had never met physically

and 3000 miles separated us,

still not being able to look into your face

is a pain, oh, I can’t explain.

even when the internet acts up

and the PC crashes,

do know that my heart has always

and will always long for you.

so come home to me.
